I got my Golf GTi PD 150 from the main VW dealer in Telford, Inchscape. I managed to get a pretty good deal from them after some discussions! The car took 6 weeks to come from the factory as I had these extras fitted on the car:

I took the car to Santa Pod on the 1/4 mile strip and was doing times of around 16secs. I travel mainly on B roads from Telford to Stafford to work and average 50 - 60mpg depending on traffic, on the motorway doing average speeds I get around 48 - 55mpg.
The ABI insurance group of the VW Golf GT TDi PD150 is 14, I have full no claims and pay around £600 a yr for comprehensive insurance and protected NCD.
I'm hoping to get the car chipped by Revo soon which should make the car simply amazing, details of the chip can be found on this site http://www.revotechnik.com The upgrade should cost around £500 and will be money well spent.
